Is it possible to block whole country IP Addresses using Htaccess?

I doubt any countries or regional areas would be contained within a single block. For example, a common mistake is to deny 203.*.*.* as that gets rid of "asian freeloaders" ... except Australia and New Zealand are also in that block.

i'm sure there are some resources out there that can do a pretty good job of blocking almost an entire country... have you tried a google search?

It's fairly easy, but why would you block them instead of redirecting to a dialer or some other money making page?
