"Successful" paysites with no affiliates?
 

How many successful paysites are out there with no affiliates? Just kind of curious. I know a few, but really not many.

Wondering how many people can pull it off...

That all depends on how you define succesful. I am sure there are plenty that make 15k a month. Success is different to all :)

Ok, let's set an attainable bar... how about 50-75 joins daily, trial or no trial, excluding rebills. How many "closed" paysites are doing that many joins?

Why would they need publicity? There are probably plenty of sites that just buy hits rather than sales...

I would assume you have several clients that go this route.

its a bigger number than you think. smart people. usually exclusive content and quality content and no scammy biz practices like pre-checked xsells, no spamming operations - just hard work. and u rarely see any of them on a webmaster board.

there is a limit to how big those sites can grow - but 10-15,000 members ain't nuthin to sneeze at!

Thing is, I think Quiet is the only one who's rather public about it. I'm sure there's a few paysite operators out there who are successful but we simply don't know of them because they don't want to be that well known.

The women on those sites are affiliates. They get their own traffic and market their sites.

It's been a long time since I read anyone hereabouts saying that it was nice that some of their search engine pages have been picked up.

We live in the land of TGP'ers who want hosting and pics and hand-holding with little or no work involved.

It's also an interesting question because Qmov seems to break the mold. They don't use exclusive content, but seem to do well. Of coarse looks can be decieving. I have no idea how well they do.

The others seem to have a unique niche. CaliforniaPimp definitely came out with an excellent product. They're huge.

As far as I know, Southern Charms isn't a paysite. It's a collection of paysites, and they don't seem to have a public affiliate program

What does that mean? It's a pretty simple model actually. Works well. It's a lot like AVS but only focuses on amateurs.

Tawnee doesn't promote her own site. Affiliates do. The amateurs with sites on SC promote their sites. They're essentially affiliates of Southern Charms.

I just don't think calling those girls affiliates is very accurate, they're closer to being paysite operators than affiliates.

But they don't promote Southern Charms, they promote their own sites.
