You're a 17 or 18 year old guy and you're having relations with your female teacher. Is it wrong?

I'm not referring to myself. Highschool was years ago.

Very unprofessional for the teacher and illegal before 18. Awesome for the kid.

Ok what if he is 19. Also what about between co-workers, which happens all the time. Is that unprofessional?

Not in my opinion.

It does not matter if he is over 18 or not. Even if this took place at a university. Teachers will get fired if it is discovered they are even dating a student.

All I can think of is The Letourneau case...I'd kick the Teachers ass!!!

The teenager in that case didn't seem to mind, from what I recall.

And he's a man now.

I think it is unethical for the teacher to have a relation with her student who is only 17 or 18.

it is considered unethical because students are usually impressed by the authorative figure of a teacher. If over 18, it is not ilegal.

My wife's mom and dad were in a similar case. She was a med school student and he was her phylosophy professor. 10 years older... But they didn't have sex until they got married. (this was 40 years ago). After the wedding, he was still her professor for the next 2 years. Nobody seemed to mind.
