cypocrypt 10-27-2004 06:18 PM

the starting lineup very possible....rotation not too sure...but that would be funny
i can hear the rest of mlb crying foul

flashfire 10-27-2004 06:18 PM

But when you just go buy all the best players from other teams it doesnt really count in my books:2 cents:

Not to say Boston isnt somewhat guilty of this too. This is why I think Baseballs lame, most teams never even have a chance

Alex 10-27-2004 06:21 PM

So the yankees pay for the world serious while boston wins it.

Sweet sweet sweet, when we win tonight and fuck but stl and ny in the ass

It only took them a Wild Card (lame) and an AL All Star win to get home field advantage (lamer)

It took them having a better team over all - they did what no other team could do in the history of baseball.

Exactly. Ya gotta love the ignrant Sox fans. P.S. Liek I'll be saying once or twice. Sox only needed a Wild Card and an AL All star game win to gain home field advantage.

Jimmie 10-27-2004 06:29 PM

it's sad that you have a payroll of 180MILLION and lose to anyone.

Unfortunately, NY is now under the curse of A-Rod.... :thumbsup

Ignorant sox fans? It was the yankee fans laughing at us during the play offs saying "You sox fans make me laugh, they can't beat the yankees :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh " and so on - guess what, sox won. GFY.

Lineup looks good, but why on earth do you want Giambi at first? I mean, he dropped 40 lbs after BALCO and hadnt been healthy all year.... :helpme

and Nomar playing second? Geez, he wasnt good enough to stay with the Red Sox, there are plenty of better 2B alternatives out there besides Nomar..

cypocrypt 10-27-2004 06:33 PM

look props to the sox for doing what they did...no doubt about the fact they whupped the yanks the last 4 games...
but i can bet you anything you want they will do the same thing every team but the yanks do after winning the WS, they will dissarm the team, after all they built for this year with the notion that this was gonan be the last chance to catch a WS....considering how may free agents they have, i doubt they will resign them all and the free agent market is not that strong...so dont bet on the sox to repeat as WS champs next year

:2 cents:

dont bet on the Yankees winning either, I mean they got beat by one of the lowest payrolls in baseball 2 years go, this year it was the SOX.....:2 cents:

Jimmie 10-27-2004 06:36 PM

and I'm not even a SOX fan, I'm a lowly Rangers fan who couldnt be happier that you took A-Rod off our hands.... Now, how about adding Chan Ho to your rotation next year. :winkwink:

I'll take a healthy Normar over almost any second baseman, except for Soriano maybe.

so the Yanks choked 2 years in a row? you had the SOX down 3-0 and a few outs away from elimination, and they got hot and beat you 4 straight? gimme a break..:1orglaugh

shows what you know, he was a defensive liability in Boston, thats why they got rid of him.... and you want Soriano back? He makes more errors than Nomar.

Castillo down in Florida is one of if not the best 2nd basemen in the game right now...

I'll take Nomar's bat any day if he can do what he did when he was healthy.

well thats the way it went right?? is like in 96 when the yanks and rangers played in the ALDS and they split the first 2 games here in NY and then they went for 2 in TX and the yanks swept the 2 there....before then the yanks were like 7-30 at arlington or some ridiculous number like that and they stil swept..so did the rangers choke then??
the yanks didnt have the team they had later on that year...

Fine, George will buy Castillo and the Yanks will flip flop the two depending on match ups. Happy? :Graucho

wes 10-27-2004 07:49 PM
