I'm thinking about transferring out of state. I'm sick of this place! Here are a few of the schools I'm looking at:

Damn a southern girl wants to go north.... the secret might get out.

What school do you go to now? Fucking try LSU or ULL. You'd like either of those. They just built a bunch of new bars/clubs in downtown Baton Rouge so it hasn't been so bad here.

I go to Northwestern right now. LSU isn't my thing and Lafayette is just a nasty place.

If you don't like to see the sun much, Humboldt State is for you... lots of rain, fog, cold.

If you like to smoke pot, Humboldt State is for you.

Arcata is a hippie community. It's very cool. I'll put you to work recruiting hairy girls for me. Seriously - I've been looking for someone to run an office there.

Humboldt State also has a very good marine biology program from what I hear.

It stays in the 50s to 60s most of the time. Sweaters are needed through most of the summer.

Chico State here in town is pretty cool, though. I'm 3.5 hours from Humboldt State. Chico State was named by Playboy as the number 2 party school in the country this year.

what's the weather like there?

Hot in the summer. 40's to 50's in the winter. If you want to snowboard, that's not far away. It's a 3 hour drive to Tahoe, 2.5 hours to San Francisco.
