i normally like to split my traffic between the 2, but yes often it has to do with which site/sponsor

I've seen your stuff and it looks pretty good to me. Although I'm not currently promoting COHF, if given the choice between revshare or PPS I would choose revshare based on what I've seen of the site! Looks like it would rebill pretty well.

I prefer PPS the majority of the time. Only a handful of sites do better than $35/signup with revshare.

I'd never go 100% with revshare.

As a sponsor, they both work in your favor, depending.

Revshare doesn't work with all sponsors but if you are smart enough, you'll find the ones that kickass in revshare and make more coin than pps. Some sponsors are made for pps and some for revshare. cohf is a great revshare program :2 cents: Also I noticed some traffic is more "experienced" than others and like to jump from membership to membership so your revshare # will likely be lower on that traffic.

it all depends on the members area....check the members areas first :-)

I have historically promoted mostly pps and just a few revshare sponsors, but we're seeing some nice rebills with Steele Cash.

Another awesome program for revshare is http://www.nscash.com - I have a guy signed up through me coming up on his 10th rebill for New Sensations. SiMpLe knows how to retain. :thumbsup

I find best a 'mixed' model, but among ADULT sponsors it seems to be rare. A smaller flat payment per new customer + a certain percentage rewards the affiliates who send healthier traffic as it attracts the ones who don't want (or can't afford) to wait till revshare gives good results.
Some of the dating sponsors around here pay $1 or more per confirmed email in example, but what about half of that instead PLUS a (smaller) percentage of the revenue the referred customer may generate later? Anyone knows a sponsor like that?

Some webmasters would go with neither because some webmasters would take their experience in converting their traffic and use it for their own sites.

Rev share...mainly cause we do it, makes sense for our program... our webmasters enjoy a thing called "retention" and get paid :thumbsup
