U.S. trucker charged in downtown Toronto sex assault

"An Oklahoma trucker has been arrested after a prostitute working the downtown core early yesterday morning was shot with a stun gun and sexually assaulted, police say.
At about 4:30 a.m., the 20-year-old woman got into the suspect?s rig in the area of Gerrard St. E. and Jarvis St. The suspect allegedly made a demand for sex and the victim attempted to leave when she didn?t receive any money. However, she was incapacitated by the suspect, who used a Taser device, police say.

It is alleged the suspect then sexually assaulted the victim. The victim eventually freed herself and fled. She did obtain the suspect?s licence plate number and the suspect was found early this morning at a truck stop in Bowmanville and was arrested.

A Taser and pellet gun were located during a search, police say.

The victim was treated at Women?s College Hospital for minor injuries.

Curtis Scott, 29, has been charged with one count of sexual assault and was scheduled to appear in Old City Hall court this morning. "

california in a whole has a great welfare system. move here if you want to have 11 kids, drink budweiser all day in your front yard on a broken pickup, eat lobster for dinner every night and never do any work. (unless you're white)

Sounds like a place we have in Canada, its called newfoundland :)

One thing Ontario has done is a work for welfare program which i like a lot. If the person is able to work and there is no reason for him to stay home then he needs to put in X amount of hours worth of assigned work to get his cheque..

When this was implemented i think "system" usage fell by like 1-1.5% It was an amazing thing to see :thumbsup

work is required now, but lack of funding due to widespread abuse has killed it. cant pay people to verify work, atleast in most areas
