Does anyone know of an application that can take screen grabs from a dvd in .....
.. an automated fashion?

So you want to set up a timer like grab every 5 Min. This will not look good. Another option is grab say every 1 min, and then pick the once you like. You can also capture the time code so you can automate it so the each clip can point to a starting point on a WMV file. Then you just pick what ever clips that look good and put it on the site / TGP. You can then directly connect to a Pay Per Min system or a DRM system. DVD's a MPEG2 so its easy to do.

I think Mikey219 told me mentioned one time that PowerDVD does something like that.

I used all the above practically, i had to go into Photoshop and touch em up afterwards to get a crispy looking thumb though.
Videocharge I believe does it but makes so so quality thumbs while it is encoding the vid. Still need to go into PS to tweak em. |
