Is that Ana ruby up near helen?

If so, the banjoes are to the east (hell, even if its over by amacolola the banjoes are to the east...)

Yeah. thats it. but I would think with dahlonega being west, the banjos would be too. :)

Nah.... Deliverance was filmed in the NE corner of the state (Tulullah Gorge area)

Near Dahlonega you'd be hearing gun fire and college boys crying for their mommy because of the drill instructors at N. GA Millitary.

Very true. But I've seen some deliverance folk come out of lumpkin county for certain. Although not geographically correct for the film, I think they got the inspiration from visiting dahlonega a few times.
