Anyone Ever fucking Win On PartyPoker?
 

ok i played a few times n shit real money and it fucking seems like everytime i have had a 3 of a kind no matter if its 3 A's or anything someone ends up getting a fucking straight somehow. First off i dont trust a computer generated dealer. It seems bullshit to me. You never know when to fold or not. Anyway hs anyone won much playing online poker?

I play a lot of single table tourneys at party poker and other places and win the majority of games (ie get my stake money back or better - often first).

But then learning to play poker properly helps :winkwink:

Im a very good player in poker and i think its more luckof the hands then anything else. Iv gotten to the final table of plenty of big tourneys here in vegas where theres over 100 players and the grand prize is over 10k but the thing is when u play online poker you cant see the person so you dont see any bad habits or anything. I just think it gives the player a less likely chance to win.

Online you can still pick up people's playing habits....Take notes on the people at the table....you will see the differnce in the people and how people play...

ya but you really have to sit there and play awhile to learn peoples habits..by then your out 50 bucks or more. Unless u keep folding but even then u lose the blinds

Nope - it's your lack of skill. Although they obviously share many things, online and 'real' poker play are different things and require slightly different methods of play. A bad poker player will blame it on the hands wherever they play.

If you have the ability you WILL win online. Just because you have the ability to win in the real world it doesn't mean you also have it online and vice versa.

Yeah you lose the blinds or you play the blinds....I do that alot...depending on the strenght of the blind and how much people put into play.

Uh, its poker. If you dont Win I'd (seriously) suggest getting a few books on Odds and what not. and limit yourself to playing $1/$2 tables till you stop sucking (everyone does for a while)

I never figured you for a poker conspiracy theorist.

If you are playing NL here in tourneys and Limit online there is a big difference in play.

You can't chase people out of pots with draws when all they have to do is call 1 or 2 bets.

You have to go in strong and weed out most people..make it as expensive as possible to draw out on you.

And if you have a set and you see a possible straight on the board chances are if more than a few people are still in the pot someone sucked out on you...same goes for flushes.

online poker play is wayyyy different then real life play. Im just not comfortable in a computer generated dealer..sorry

It's all about pot odds when you play limit.

Sometimes you have to fold the big monster hands when you're obviously drawing dead. AA-JJ sometimes are not your best hands even though I love it when I get them...but You only have 2 outs on a lot of flops.

If you have let's say j/10 suited. You now can get the nut straight no matter what..you also have flush possibilities.

In limit hold em it's all about position and pot odds.

You'll play a lot of hands you normally wouldn't play in NL.

Like a 5/6o on the button when there's a family pot...you wanna call that shit...pot odds are there.

Doesn't mean you need to stay in and chase draws like everyone else.

Don't flop a straight draw, or a set..get out.

Ive won pretty nice amounts on poker, never any big money on partypoker though, I play most my games at Expekt

its not rigged by partypoker, but i've seen trainers and odds calculators and shit like that on some torrent sites which obviously would give you an unreal advantage over anyone not using them.

I have a friend who won a big tournament on partypoker, now he gets to take a cruise and play on espn and shit, all paid for by partypoker.
