How to get rid of scan lines when encoding videos
 

I do a lot of DVD ripping to AVI/MPG and almost always when i rip high resolution (600x400 or higher) i get annoying and quality degrading scan lines. Is there software out there that will rid this and make the video smooooooth?

Make sure when you rip them you check off the de-interlace option.
