2 Days In a Row With Mind Blowingly Shitty CCBill Stats

I have NEVER seen anything quite like this in the year that I've been promoting ccbill sponsors.

I know I'm not the only one to complain about this, as some of my trade partners that I talk to on ICQ have been reporting similar.

However, first it was the date bug that caused sign-ups to disappear (only 3 hours worth of them were showing up). And now people are reporting weird symptoms with stats remote, and people are also reporting record shitty conversion ratios.

Obviously shit happens .. could be just a bad week. People are off buying GTA San Andreas instead of buying porn like they're supposed to or something. But tied in with the fact that stats remote users are complaining about weird stats, and the fact that CCBill has proven to us this past week that they introduce code changes without testing them first, one has to wonder if we're being analy raped here without lube.

I've been trying to load my entire stats from January 1st '04 to October 26th '04 so I can get my exact ratio to compare... but I've tried twice, each attempt takes about 5 minutes and I get an Error - way to go ccbill stats!

Anyway the other day I did this for a friend who was curious and it was something like 1:900 on 400k. I've got like 15-20 sponsors merged under the one account, so it's not just one site that I'm promoting.

Here are my ratios for the past 5 days.

20th - 1:581
21st - 1:920
22nd - 1:889
23rd - 1:1544
24th - 1:3315
25th - 0:3274

I'm sure my stats are hardly the worst either. Everyone I ask seem to be all reporting over 1:3000 for the last 2-3 days.

My first 12 days of the month were rock solid with ccbill, but the past 2 weeks have been a horrid joke.

Problem with ccbill is that its so up and down for ratios. One killer day then two horrid days. And the one thing that bugs me most is sales always seems to come in bunches.

Past two days with CCBill were among my best...

normal here, nothing funky.

Orsm 10-26-2004 08:42 AM

Way down for me too... almost nothing happening for the last 2 days.

:(

Sosa 10-26-2004 09:25 AM

1:521 for the month so far.

good on my end. Got a decent amount of denial emails but it was because the surfers had insufficient funds.

When your sales emails start to go to your bulk folder, you're doing decent. It's been a long time since that's happened to me but I got one in the bulk folder yesterday.

I hope today is good...so far it isn't but it could change in an hour

since 21th is everything fine for me, 18-19-20th were weird, not that bad, but 50% of the average. But everything works fine since then and even better.
