I ordered the CD. Works great for me.

Pornopat 10-26-2004 02:26 AM

Its a good thing I did it.
sp2 is fiercely blocking all pop-ups.

I will have to figure out the consequences for my sites...

swedguy 10-26-2004 02:28 AM

I'm happy I could uninstall that damn SP2.

i installed a service pack called "Firefox". After that, i never had any problem with hijacks, adware etc again :)

polish_aristocrat 10-26-2004 04:58 AM

SP2 = more restrictions = a tad slower

Pornopat 10-26-2004 08:37 AM

It was a wild experiment.
Its still on.
I did not notice much.
It tried to block Kazaa and Skype telling me they were unsafe but I heard those stories about Microsoft as well...
Its blocking all my pop ups and it does seem a bit slower...

jaYMan 10-26-2004 08:41 AM

I had no problems, the only thing I found annoying was I was no longer able to click outta my emails.

macho 10-26-2004 08:50 AM

I had some problems with it!
For pop-up blocking you could use Google Toolbar.:) :winkwink:

I am not worried about me getting pop-ups.
I worry about the surfers not getting the pop-ups.
The majority will install sp2 without giving it a 2nd thought.
So from now on pop-ups are worthless...:(

Slick 10-26-2004 09:09 AM

I installed it on my home computer without any problems, so I figured I'd do it on my laptop. That was a mistake because it really fucked it up.
