I usually dont watch this show, (plus maury always got some damn cross dressers on it) but i was flipping channels and saw the title of show was SEX, SOMETHING SOMETHING CHEATERS, Video TAPE and it Kinda caught my attention lol

Ok so i waited to hear a certain story, about a black chic, blah blah who was new in town, and she was searching newspaper for job, and saw an ad FOR EXOTIC MODELING (first clue lol), and had a price per hour next to it. Now she spoke to man on phone, and he DID EXPLAIN she would need to be nude, and she refused, but while still on phone he convinced her to do topless . Ok so for some reason, he plans the shoot at her house ( I have no earthly why)

So he comes by her place, she gets down to bra and panties, blah blah, then topless, and he whips out the video camera, She doesnt say lets stop or anything, but eventually moves to next room. he brings it with him,

Now she says she called him several time about receiving the photos, and he never replied, then she said she wanted the video and the photos, AND HE DIDNT REPLY ( NOT SUPRISED)

AND she was bitching and moaning about blah blah blah, She doesnt know how many people are seeing her naked and on the internet. And the photographer was oh so wrong, and hurt her (the girl got paid, what did she expect, to be paid, and nobody see the photo and video?)

NOW if the heffa got paid, saw the video camera, why should she expect pictures?

ONLY THING i could possibly see her moaning about is not siging a model release. AND WHO THE HELL would pay a model, and not get a release, especially these days. with all the law suits for just about anthing popping up.


MY question to those who either occaisionally shoot content, or shoot content full time, How many of you promise copies of photos/video to models you pay, and if you do WHY, and also, how long do you take to do it?

the only time We give content to paid models is if they took a huge cut in pay or did a content trade. with another girl model on set. IF we do a trade I burn it RIGHT there that very moment, video - they wait till its loaded in the laptop and then I burn a disc. I expect the same in return if I dont know you personally.


As far as shooting at her place. I let THEM choose where they wan tto shoot first time. (this is after a office vist or a zillion emails, I dont wanna get robbed either.)

I used to let a model squeak by when I first started over a decade ago if she forgot her ID, (trusting she'd bring it in later... lesson to noobies, once they are out that door with your money the chances of them coming back are slim and none unless they expect more photowork/income) but not anymore. NO MATTER HOW HOT, no paper no shooting. I had to eat 2 sets in 94, and have never done so since.

Then I had a gal who wanted her stuff back after we shot , she had a change of heart.... those are tough calls.

well don't forget there are alot of creeps out there claiming to be content photographers. Yes, I can see some creep getting pics and leaving and never returning her calls.

Every one I shoot for is usually for content trade..so damn straight I get my pics and they usually take a week or two to do it.

Always get ID, Always get release signed in advance of shooting, Always get first picture of her after signing release of her holding ID next to face. Everything is always reduced to writting.

That said, many times I do give models some pictures for their portfolio, etc. I would never though give a model the entire set unless it was either stamped, shot TFP, or if I was going to sell the set as non exclusive and then they would be deducted the set selling price of the set.

That said, many are straight ignorant about producing content. To many people really think that if they buy a digital camera or a camcorder and run an ad they suddenly are producers. Want a clue, take a look at a typical smal providers license agreements and them compare them to a few other providers, it will give you some insight.

True true if its a content trade, yes model should definitely get all photos, that are of quality, BUT this female, was looking through paper looking for quick money, The way the whole story on the show, was shown, was in bad light,.

In my opinion any model who is paid, and wants or expects to get more than about 5 photos from the shoot, Needs to start paying me for taking the photos.

if they want a few personal pics ill email to them or make em a cd with a watermark sometimes models just like to have a few of their pics for other jobs or whatever, but get a real contract and have it say that the model is not entitled to inspect or have any rights to the raw or edited content. why anyone would film without a release is beyond me, but of course we live in a world of people who would vote for bush ...

Agreed - No ID - No paperwork - No shoot! I have several pages to sign when doing a trade - my advice - always check your paperwork before shooting anything - they might look like they are signing but have discovered that they don't sometimes - ugh!:mad:

I'm working with a very popular model later this month, and she asked for copies of all the videos and pics so she can put them on her site too. I told her she could have them as I grabbed them and produced them.... and with our logo on them. She said no problem..... otherwise I wouldn't have done it. I can't wait to shoot her!

well I need to start looking for these models, who want to do some trading like that, I dont mind myself giving out photos if model is shooting for free, and especially if she only putting in her member section, and they have my tag on them
