DrunkSlut results disappointing - your experience?
 

My results from DrunkSlut have been rather disappointing so far, so
I've pulled the links for a while until I see how the rebills do.

Here's my ACTUAL DATA to support this...

July: 15 CC sales, 3 rebills; 2 check sales
August: 22 CC sales, 10 rebills, 2 check sales, 1 rebill, 2 revokes
TOTAL: 37 CC sales, 2 check sales net.

Of the 37 CC sales, 11 have rebilled 1+ times (30% of CC sales rebilled)

Of the 4 check sales, 1 rebilled and 2 revoked (25% of check rebilled)

For bringing in 41 signups, I have so far received $449.01 i.e. $10.95 per signup.

I have 12 "potential rebills" currently ongoing. EACH of these 12
potential rebills must rebill for an average of 3.43 additional months for
the overall average to be worth $35 a signup (a pretty typical per-signup
payment)

QUESTION: Do you think I have ANY chance of sustaining that kind of rebill
average, or is a 3.43 month average rebill a pipedream in 2001?

Also am I just very unlucky, or have you noticed the same "high conversion but low $" trend?

I dont think your signups are high enough to do a precise analysis on your numbers..

But the drunkslut rebills havent been the greatest, but oh well.

The signups convert good, so im not complaining... To bad it wasnt 35-40 a signup though :- )

that sure would be nice.

My sign-ups haven't been so great either, but I just started the program last week..
(so I cant comment on rebills)

Hey gkk, thanks for honesty. Your numbers are slightly lower than the overall average for drunkslut. However, We are working on improving retention, because conversions are GREAT, so that leaves rentention as our goal. We trying to live up to AP ratios, which is tough act to follow for any site!

We are diversifing the members area and adding a ton of great new content, so hopefully we will see our goal of 60+ percent retention in the near future.

The limited traffic I have sent past the program has all been mature TGP traffic. 1:650 or so conversion ratio, but the rebills have done ok for the traffic I think.

Just getting into bbw content now, so maybe should try it on that? http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif I am sure it is probably a killer converter on the teen over the "regular" teen content.

drunk sluts has been pretty good for me. Although my conversion from trial to paid members is a bit low

for August I got:

21,867 hits
112 trial signups
1:196 ratio

I have also gottenhave had 9 checks with 3 revokes 0 chargebacks and so far 46 rebills which means about 41% of have rebilled but I still have about 3 days worth of signups where the rebill isn't yet due so that # will go up I hope.

All in all it seems like a pretty good site.

Yeah, I'm getting great signups from a handful of links on my pages. I'm having the same problem though with getting the trials to recur into memberships. I'm only keeping about 25% of the members myself.

You also have to remeber that Drunkslut will convert traffic that normally won't buy memberships so they won't convert as easy to a full membership.

Well, I'm seeing similar results....less than 30% or so retention from trials to full conversions. I only started with the program in August, so I have less than a month in, but the conversions seem to be running about average for me.

The numbers from cashtour are:
TOTALS 10150 40 254:1

The 1:254 number is signups only, and does not account for any rebills.

The iBill numbers for August are:
signups 39 $135.63 rebills 11 $263.67

There is a discrepancy which the Cashtour staff are aware of and are compensating me for, so that accounts for the 39 vs. 40 signups number.

I don't think this program converts better than anything else I'm using, nor does it convert worse. It's working OK for me and I'll keep promoting it as it is a rather unique site and hope that retention improves. Traffic sources for this are about 95% pure TGP traffic from galleries and the rest being ads on some of my own TGP's. Of course, 40 signups at $35 per would be a big difference in the numbers as opposed to what I did make.

My (unsolicited) opinion is that $39.95 is way too fucking much on a monthly basis, but the $24+ rebills are nice and it wouldn't take long to get past that $35 per signup number with some good long term members.


I don't make a habit of posting dollars and cents in public, and not in private either, but this thread is interesting and warrants some more data for us and the guys running the program.
