What is it with Christianity and Sex With Young Guys/Girls?!?

First visit: http://www.coolnurse.com/consent.htm

what I find really interesting is the apparent correlation between a lower age of consent and illegal homosexual/lesbian consent. incedentally - most of those states are also bible thumping states. for example - in south carolina, the girl only has to be 14, while the guy has to be 16, this is encouraging 16 and 17 year old guys to have sex with 13 and 14 year old girls. Which makes you wonder just how much the bible promotes sex with young children, especially when you hear about things like the catholic church protecting the child-molesting priests, and Bush's new 2257 laws which make it basically "okay" to photograph girls in the nude if they're below 18, but not in a "sexually suggestive" pose. Just some food for thought...

and just how old do you think Mary and Joseph were when Jesus was born??

Ya know, people used to get married and have kids at 15.

I would say that you have a good point there, and that the laws are just antiquated .. but that was common up until the early 1900's - at which point most of the states in the union were already formed.... If other states used to have lower ages of consent, but have since adjusted them to meet social norms, why have the southern states been so slow to adjust?

dude, i didn't know gay butt sex was illegal in so many states.

as I was trying to say before, mary was 16 when she was having Jesus... so I dont think god has much against age.

it is very customary to have older men with younger girls, so if you dont like young mothers, then you mine as well spit on Mary and call jesus trailer trash.

I'd like to see the correlation between a lower age of consent and long-lasting marriages.

My mom got married at 15 and she's still married to my dad... I suspect (no proof) that there's a connection. Get married while you're young and impressionable... form a stronger bond ?

Just a theory. Prove me wrong.

other than the 3 or 4 couples who I know that got married right after highschool and have already been divorced ... I don't have any counter arguments :)

I am not a Bush fan...but the new 2557 law does not make it "okay" to photograph underage girls in the nude...the constitution does.

It's called Free Expression...Free Speech.

It sucks that there will be some who may use it in clearly immoral but borderline illegal ways...but it's there to protect those who are actually artists.

There are many famous photographers who have photographed many children from infants to adolescents nude.

Sally Mann, Jock Sturges, Robert Mapplethorpe....Jock Sturges was actually brought up on charges although acquitted on all those charges.

Sorry to deviate from the gist of your post...just wanted to point this out.

oh yeah, I understand that part ... I just find it interested that that is the ONLY part of the 1st amendment that he would choose to relax on during his stay in office.

These discussions are hilarious to me.....all this from an industry that spends so much time putting 18 and 19 year old girls in pony tails and schoolgirl uniforms and posing them in little girls bedrooms so as to sell the illusion that they are only 14 or 15

You all crack me up!:1orglaugh :1orglaugh

Bush seems to be allowing underage naked pictures and is trying to stop porn...isn't that flip flopping lol
