Grudge, who saw it and what do you think?

Without telling the story or anything, that movie is at least for me, one of the scariest movies of all time!

There isn't like a lull, like most movies give you, you are always on edge and something happening.

Just fucking awesome, I was still all creeped out when I went to bed and this morning, what a pussy I am, but fuck it was scary!

TheLegacy 10-25-2004 07:20 AM

havent seen it yet.. actually that one and SAW are on my to do list this weekend

jacked 10-25-2004 07:23 AM

i haven't seen it either but SAW looks like it could be a lot more scary than GRUDGE, if you guys are down for a good horror flick go rent rob zombie's House of 1000 Corpses i dled it the other day watched it again for the first time since it came out in theatres such a hot fuckin movie

FilthyRob 10-25-2004 07:27 AM

Yeah, Saw will be great one too, the website is really awesome for that one.

House of 1000 Corpses is great too, but nothing compared to The Grudge in my opinion. I have seen just about every horror movie that I know of, subtitled foreign flicks aside.

zzgundamnzz 10-25-2004 07:58 AM

I didn't like the Grudge... the premise seemed kinda stupid to me. "When somebody dies from a rage a curse is born".

You wouldn't be able to take a step around Europe without being killed by a ghost then :1orglaugh

Good point, but didn't you think it was scary, premise aside?

FilthyRob 10-25-2004 07:13 PM

Any of you night people see it? or even see it tonight?

gornyhuy 10-25-2004 07:15 PM

The premise behind The Ring was stupid as fuck, but it was the creepiest scariest movie I've ever seen... So I have HIGH hopes for the Grudge...

Can't wait!

It already made $40M in the opening weekend!

pxxx 10-25-2004 07:17 PM

Rob Zombies House of Dead is shit. The guy should stick to music and cartoons cause that movie sucked donkey balls...
Only a "newb" to the arts with no fuckin brain high on lsd could enjoy such pathetic dogshit.

on the other hand...

The Grudge I saw last night and I thought it was good, keeps you on your edge and never lets up on it. Its directed perfectly.
Not alot of gore but lots of jumpy shit.
cant wait for more

yea, it hard not to reveal too much but after the movie I was thinking...the house in the Grudge was so empty and dark and fuckin cold and creepy...and I went to movie with thoughts of traditional haunted house thinking...changed my thinking damn fast...

TheMob 10-25-2004 07:40 PM

of course it will vary from person to person...when I watched the movie ( I am 32 yrs old...) there was this kid ( about 18-22) who came in lookin like Slim Shady with three of his "hoes" with him and sat in the opposite row ... so this kid was being all cool and crackin ' jokes and shit and I was watching him during the scry parts and this kid looked like he seen a ghost right in front of him throughout the whole flick (he was throwin in little comments and jokes during the few unsuspensful parts..like "this movie is lame etc...) and during the movie finale I thought the kid was gonna crawl into the seat behind him to get away from the screen lol, but when lights came back on he was like "what the fuck was that, that wasnt scary at all....fuckin people, theres more retards on this planet then first thought

Donny 10-25-2004 08:01 PM

To quote one of the guys on "Crocodile Dundee" (sorry, I don't remember the character's name):

"Ah, Mick...[it] frighten shit out of me!"

calmlikeabomb 10-25-2004 08:03 PM

it was good

skyechase 10-25-2004 08:04 PM

galleryseek 10-25-2004 08:39 PM

it was fucking horrible actually, it's a PG13 flick, duh, it's a tenniebopper horror movie.

i was dumb enough to go to opening night, filled with 13 year old girls screaming every second.

don't see it.

SpikeHeel 10-25-2004 09:43 PM

I really love scary movies especially inside the movie house with a date. I'll list this one this weekend!

Thurbs 10-25-2004 09:45 PM
