NEC LCD1765

This thing so far only comes in 17 inch but it's the closest thing to CRT. The screen is shiny and bright! The words are crisp and the whites are very white. That is what I will get for sure when my CRT dies :thumbsup NEC rocks!!! If 19 inch comes out it will even be better.......

That's if you don't mind paying double the price :Graucho This NEC monitor is best for hardcore gamers that want LCD and CRT quality. I was looking at the aquarium screen saver they had running and the fish looked almost 3d :glugglug

if you want a real thing, buy Sony SDM-HS series.
with their XBRITE technology (400cd/m2)

You have to see it in person to judge it. The LCD screen looks polished and like glass so it ends up looking very bright.

Damn I want the 30 inch for christmas...

you have to see the new Sony monitors.
after that, everything else look slike shit.

I have a new Sony Vaio that has a 17" XBRITE LCD.
You cant evencompare it to my 19" samsung.

when i switched from CRT to TFT a couple of years back i felt a lot healthier, with all the shit that comes out of CRTs a TFT is a must buy dude.
