How do you ask a solider to be the last person to die in Iraq?
How many American deaths (yeah..not even talking about Iraqi's here) will take before the citizens of this country say: "ENOUGH!"?
2000,5000, 10000? Imagine the lives we could save by just bringing the troops home NOW! (And now I AM talking about both American & Iraqi and all foreign nationals). |
There are always idiots prepared to die for worthless causes.
I say... let them die. |
We should say that all soldiers are a heroes and if they will die they will save millions of innocent people :thumbsup

iF usA WERE TO PULL OUT OF iRAQ NOW, iRAQ WOULD BE AN EVEN WORSE BLOOD BATH.
Talkin hundreds of thousands would die. |
I'd say 10,000. In war there is going to be casualities.
The average baseball game audiance has lets say 30,000 people. So out of the entire population of the USA, basically 1/30th of one baseball game audiance has died. In the Korean conflict the USA had around 40,000 kia and it was a stalemate. In this one they at least drove Sadaam out pretty easily, and now they have mostly nusiance attacks by extremists who try to scare people by beheading civillians. |

Are people dying ever a good thing? It's appaling to think that some people can care less about anyones life until it is there own. Strange... Not caring about people's deaths is rather a psychotic self centered approach don't ya think? Now its just a matter of damage control so less are lost not 10 times more. Again its to late, Bush fucked up and now American's goto live with it and do the best we can. Hopefully Bush won't get a 2nd term, I doubt he will anyways. |

If it is OUR responsibility to send troops to die in warfare in order to save the lives of foreign nationals, then we can't simply apply it to those countries that best fit our own national interests (as in Iraq). "Not caring about people's deaths is rather a psychotic self centered approach don't ya think?" -->if that is what you believe, then you should be on your soapbox breating the heck out of the drums for military intervention in the Sudan, the Phillipines, North Korea, MANY other African countries as well as a few in central & South America. I know Bush got us in this mess, but I think there comes a point where one must be selfish and say "We must protect American lives FIRST" and get our troops home! We cannot stay there indefinitely to be protectors of the Iraqi people. As it is now, we're doing a TERRIBLE job protecting their lives. Do you really think it would be WORSE if we left? |
