Summer Slowdown Over?
 

I never really experienced the "summer slowdown" that many claim, until this year.

However, stats across the board seemed to have taken a nice Jump back in the last few days...How is everyone else doing?

The last 2 weeks have been my best, right after that intense heatwave went away actually

I'm eating spam for dinner.

I have noticed an increase in sales the past few days. I just figured the processors weren't scrubbing as hard. Hope it continues to build. Selling blood makes me dizzy.

i dont feel no difference and my fobby ass is still eating ketchup and rice.

I am glad to hear someone else say it.... actually I am kindda freaked out by it cuz me and my partner were just saying that the last few days have really picked up.

My summer was really slow, dying traffic on week-ends etc and then I found a sponsor that kicked ass for the last month that I used it and it put me back up a bit.

Here's to lots of students with computers, credit cards and gov't loans!

Summer sucked major ass! I hope I can get a nice nest egg this winter to survive next summer!

I have noticed a big difference this last week, now signups are backup to normal again, during this summer it has decreased quit a lot.

Well the summer was shity for me too
Yeah I get lot more traffic but I can't really tell if is gone because I got a hi listing on google.

I did really good numbers the first week or two of August and then literally nothing, like three or four sales in the last week and a half with almost the same volume of traffic...huge bummer.

My summer slowdown was the TGP's not listing me! I took a month off myself this summer, and was getting 100k a day from my TGP traffic from the years of doing it before with no breaks more than 1 week before this break. I took the 1 month off of submitting galleries and came back to not getting listed with more than a few of them http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/frown.gif

so, is this what drives our business? are we really dependant on the curiosity of young adults? is this the meat and potatoes of our trade?

just asking because someday soon, the newbie well will dry up. very soon (in relative history), a computer and the internet will be as common in a home as a television.

i realize that there will always be a fresh market of brand-new adults that have access to credit cards and the freedom to explore their sexuality. what i want to know is, is this regenerating market of newbie adults our prime marketing target?

do we follow the example of lowest-common-denominator whores like madison avenue and prey upon the one, sure easy sell?

we are selling the one thing we know surpasses generational lines. should we then still cater to the whims of one group of customers simply because we know they are an easy sale?
