it was the scariest fuckin movie I've ever seen. i saw it with three girls and I think I was about as scared as them.

japanese ppl go over the top with everything. put it this way, watch a slasher film from Japan and ur disgusted, watch a horror film and you're terrified.

Two thumbs down from Ebert and that other guy...

They even threw in a line that this was a 'get up and walk out' movie.

I saw it on opening night (Friday). It wasn't bad. Pretty typical modern horror movie. Nothing really special but it didn't suck.

I've already watched the Japanese versions, 1 and 2.

I really liked the japanese version...it had that "atmosphere" to it that only asian horror movies seems to have...i'll watch the remake for sure...

but i'm not really worried..i'm a big horror fan! :winkwink:

Edit: What's cool is it was a low budget film; they rarely do well.

From the look of the commercial, I thought it would be something like "darkness falls" which really sucked...

That was on tv other night......yeah, really sucked.

Are you on crack? That movie was excellent. Come on, the Tooth Fairy fone bad. That's creepy as hell.

Probably, but I am drunk and in the horror movie mood. I was actually thinking of putting in the Darkness Falls DVD before I read this thread. I am easily amused. I'm sure I'll just end up watching Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back for the 1000th time.
