I think it's a bullshit theory. If you're an independent, intelligent and educated woman, then rich and attractive are a bonus qualities in a man but not as important as intellect, character and sense of humour.

The wealthier a woman becomes, usually attractiveness of her partner becomes more important. Because she is independent she doesn't have to settle for any guy for support.

It seems counter-intuitive, but women and men are more similar in this respect than you'd think.

To me, a rich man is very attractive, but not because of the money, it's more of a competence thing. I like a competent man.

I also like one that thinks highly of himself.. not necessarily an asshole, just one that doesn't put himself down

I like someone who is content being alone, and in a relationship with me at the same time.. there's nothing worse than a man whining about how you don't pay enough attention to him, or spend enough time with him
