Who else here has been royally screwed by the cops for some revenue raiser or a vendetta or something.

I recently got a speeding fine for doing 114k in a 100 zone in a car with a tested top speed of 98kph on a downhill slope. At 114k I must have been freefalling from a fucking cliff.

I'm most shitted cause the car is in a friends name so he actually got the ticket, otherwise I'd write to them and describe graphically what they can do with thier fine.

They should give people some more responsability. Of course, driving 150mph during daytime and in busy area's is crazy and should be punished with awful fines. But during night, in a calm zone, with few traffic... why not raise the speed limit by 20-30% ?

DarkJedi - Go Fuck Yourself. I said I would go pay the fine for that very reason, and yes explain it was myself driving. Did you perhaps think the police believe the driver of a car is always the owner?

Something I should have mentioned perhaps is I was on a Motorway/Freeway with a speed limit of 100kph. I wrote because I know for a fact that car cannot do the accused speed. Just having a gripe

With the speeding fine did you get a copy of the photo, normally has the speed on it or were you pulled over ? And verbally quoated 114 and some.

i got pulled over last summer back in my hometown in Pittsburgh, PA.

I went down a back-alley the wrong way...cop was RIGHT there, pulled me over, gave me attitude, called me "Mrs. Wisconsin!" and etc.

I told him there was no sign saying it was a "One Way" alley. He got smart with me, so I got smart with him back! I told him "My Uncle is YOUR boss!! My Uncle is the MAYOR of this town!! I'll see you in court!"

Sure enough, i was let go of the ticket and the cop got in trouble. Hehehehehe...

As far as the sign that says "One Way", it was there...bent (as if someone hit it with car) and laying in the bush's LOL
