What day do you take off for fun?
 

I have beenslack this summer however I have found that everyday I. read the boards and check my mail.
Without fail I get up like a robot check my mail answer the important ones http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/smile.gif and of course read my fav boards.

I know I am not the only one however I am wondering how many are the acception to the rule?

"What day do you take off for hun?"

It got me thinking.

Usually take off on a Sat or Sun, and play a day of paintball. But I cut back on that this summer - too damn hot.

I work on Tuesdays only. Webmastering should not cut into my social life.

What is a day off? Seriously I take one day off a month to go out with my friends to a club we are regulars at. However, even then I end up doing double work the night before. Gosh I need a holiday.

I like to take mondays and tuesdays off myself. You can go to the beach or do some shopping. Things just aren't as crowded on those days as the weekends. I party at clubs though on the weekend nights; thats when all the hot woman come out.

go on vacation Blondy it really helps a few months ago i was sailling for my school cause im also studying for maritime officer and i was 2 months on sea day in day out working 12 hours day no internet so you get crazy when i was back i took a vacation to Florida (Key West) it was fucking nice to do nothing a hole week long

I never have a day off, I love this work too much. But the past few days I've had some pretty servere hardware problems which lead to me reformating 6 times on Thursday, twice yesterday and once this morning - so I've been "off work". It was worth it though... and upgrade from a 56k modem shouldn't take so much effort. Now I have banished AOL dialup from my PC I'm streaming along on a cable modem. No more fucking "Welcome.......................... to A... With not submitting galeries, my traffic from tgps has dropped from around of 140k daily to only 20k daily... but the signups are still coming in from AVS sites which goes to show - YOU MUST DIVERSIFY IN THIS BIZ!!!

And dammit, I've lost my ICQ contact list again.

I'm with Id, even when I take a day off I end up updating. This is my hobby, no matter how much it pays it doesn't make it less fun for me.

My first day off from this business was a month ago, when I drove to visit friends. Even that wasn't a "real" vacation....it was a working vacation.

I WAS in the hospital in March, but, that doesn't count, cause I was still doing business...just wasn't on my computer..

I did go to Atlanta for the AWE and got to stay in a hotel overnight....but..wait..that was work, too...

I'm going to Denver next week....nope..that's also work...

Now that I think about it..I haven't had a day off in over three years.

My office is fifteen feet from my bed. I roll out of bed, perform my toilette...and I'm at the computer with my first cup of coffee....

Sigh...I love this business....never a dull moment....:-)

I get up 2 hours before I go to my "Real" job and check my stats, e-mail, bbs's etc. The fucking second I get home, I drop down in front of my computer and stay there until I go to bed.
