How does someone trade traffic with big tgps?
 

There is no "join" link on JJJ, Elephant List, and other big tgps. Does that mean that site cant join the traffic trade?

Just wondering.

im not sure if thats true . try sending some hits to jjj's and see if you get listed . Or alternatively justa ask jjj

first, why are you asking this question when you don't even have a main page listed in your profile to send traffic from?

second, if you want to trade traffic with someone, why are you asking the question at a BBS? - why not contact the site you want to trade traffic with directly?

third, JJJ and other sites use either UCJ or X-3 scripts for trades and if you send them traffic and perhaps an email or ICQ to let them know, then they'll add in your domain

and last, but not least, many larger sites have relied on building their traffic from trading with numerous smaller sites, so don't assume you have to be the size of Elephant List to have a trade going

I am with you Rocky. Too many people come here asking questions that could easily be answered by just emailing that person. Grab some common sense people, its free!

Elephant List has a limit to the number of trades he runs. I know someone who sent him over 50k after he said he wasn't taking any new trades. He still said no (sometimes no means no).

There are SO many sites to trade with these days, there is no real reason to get hung up on trading with any one particular site. Hell, since I am still rebuilding my traffic, I can't trade with all the sites I was trading with before. I mean, it is better to build up your traffic to a certain level, to where you can hit a site like Zilla and be pretty high on the list, instead of struggling to send him hits when you are kinda small.

1. I am asking here cause usually there is a sign up link somewhere on the site and many big sites don't have that.

2. I am not asking about one or two sites but about big sites in general.

3. Trading with big sites is better then small sites cause even if you are last on a site like JJJ it is better to be first on a regular small place.

I don't agree.. if you are #120 on Thumbzilla you won't get many hits at all where as if you were #9 on a smaller site you may get several hundred a day (or more).

Well, that's my opinion anyway.

J used to have text that said, "send traffic to..." but it has since been removed - many big sites don't have a direct way to sign up because they are fed up with cheaters - which is why i suggested you either email or ICQ the site owner, this way they get to know you before adding your link

if you want to set up trades with numerous large sites than i think it's worth the effort to email or ICQ them, all of them

i have to disagree with that completely - if you're hanging on the end of a large sites top referral list, than you'll be lucky to get back the traffic you're sending
