I have now unhotlinked myself. That little caper cost me 20c.

you can send the surfer that comes from the site that steals links any place you want, and he takes I believe 5% for B/W.
I used it 3 or 4 times and sent to a sponsor, if I didn't get any sign up with that sponsor

I don't like blind links too, but do you have actually the right to img src another site? Thats even more primitive than blind links. Just tell the guy, you don't like his site and/or galleries and that's it.
Anyway, you can always block any domain by .htaccess and tell about multiple request to your host, so he can block all that shit from a system level. Also, requests like that are similar to DoS attack if they come from a site with a lots of traffic like 'thehun.net'. This is illegal and blind links are, erm, just annoying. I don't recall anything, as I said I approve this way of "sending" traffic and i'm sure that the hun has serious reasons for it. Enough with all these bastards playing games with other business. I respect one thing to the hun, although he could have 2 gallery builders and work on 40 galleries/day and almost double his money, he doesnt do that, he keeps posting galleries of other webmasters. When I started this business, not so long time, I had my 1st gallery posted by the hun. Webmasters should respect and protect this previledge.

Last time I checked blind links are not against the law.But Denial of Service Attack is.

Elephant list did this same thing to juicy links a few months ago. It was as illegal then as it is now. This is a DOS attack, and moreover it is calculated to cause monetary damages, which makes it pretty much an instant win in a lawsuit as well. The Hun is lucky he's not in the US with those tactics, he'd be broke pretty quick.

I find it really amazing that the webmasters who agree with this don't agree with people cheating sponsors, or trading partners, or violating the rules of TGPs... This is AGAINST THE LAW. The Hun deserves to be at least fined heavily for this bs. This isn't the wild west, and this shit just isn't acceptable from a "major" player like Hun.

anyone have time to explain what that code actually does? and how its using bandwith if theres no image loading on the page?

When someone does an img src on an html page, every time someone visits that page with the img src that persons browser tries to download img srced page because it thinks it is an image and finds out it is not only after it finished downloading it.

Imagine the a web site that gets 100000 visitors a day img srces a 100 kb page on someone's web site, that's 10 GB a day.
What if the page is bigger or the web site gets more visitors....
