What's up with my RealPlayer program? Everytime i want to play a regular movie clip over again it says "rebuffering" right in the middle of the clip then stops and reboots for a long time before continuing. I mean a Long time! Anyone tell me what the hell that means??? And what i need to do so it doesn't do that anymore?

real player sucks. Anytime i'm forced to use it i get all sorts of unexplained problems. I even paid for their "gold" version and it still sucks.

It simply means that RealPlayer sucks. Period.

I've had this problem several times, often I need to restart the application to see the entire clip - even worse: sometimes the movie shows its first couple of frames, then mysteriously stops while the sound is still playing http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/confused.gif Wonder if Real has anything to do with Micro$oft... wouldn't surprise me at all.

My suggestion would be to reinstall Real Player. If it still gives you shit... take a bat and hit the screen really hard.

I would rather see short mpg's than longer real-media files.

What burns me 'bout RP is you remove it from starting up in
Windows config b/c who needs it in the tray sucking mem
and flashing when there is an upgrade or add they want you
to see.

The part that "burns" me is if you boot RP it rewrites itself to
be in the startup again. I'm constantly removing RP from the
startup. So its play a stream, boot up msconfig, remove RP
from startup, all just to view one lousy stream.

Fuggin' thing.
MSN does it to.

The thing is I just installed it or loaded it or downloaded it or whatever.....just yesterday and it's already giving me all the problems you mentioned.

So which program is the best for seeing all the kinds of video clips, streams, and long film clips that I find at so many sites?

I want the best program for a computer ready for 56.6 capabilities baby!!!
