Ahh to be young and stupid.

With all the moving around this year, I knew that I missed at least one payment to California ... but didn't expect this.

They contacted my (very part time) 'mainstream' employer and are withholding 25% of each paycheck I get until my taxes are paid off.

Is this going to fuck my credit?

Yooooooooooooooooooou betcha it will..

Anytime there is a garshiment or a judgement against you for taxes, it goes on your credit report..

Georgia fucked me, when my former accountant failed to file our state income tax..

It was only $6,000 or so to pay, but with all the interest and penalties, the final bill was $13,000 and change, plus a it being put on our credit report, since I was sole propriator at the time...
