I dont even know where to begin........... What do you think the top 5 greatest rock bands are...... there is no right answer......... just opinions.

Metallica, Megadeth, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Aerosmith, The Who

yes the beatles are considered rock LOL

these bands have made more of an impact on music today than any others I feel - not too mention overall sales and lengevity.

But what really makes a band great?

Yep they are arrogant bastards but there is no doubting the Morning Glory album is one of the greats imo.

I think I`m right is saying that they had huge success everywhere they went in the world but it`s the UK where they have achieved so much. At one stage during their peak they were never out of the news for good and bad reasons.

I just don't like them personally...again, like someone mentioned...there's so many bands that influenced the rock scene...it's mostly down to a matter of personal taste
