XM or Sirus?

Which one is better? Why?

cosis 10-21-2004 11:42 AM

I got XM, they are both good but I got XM because the Sirus receivers are to big....... The rock selection on XM is better also

Content wise it's a toss up?

Sirius - Stern and Football
XM - O & A and Baseball

Anyway, both offer free online trials:

I have to go with Sirius......I am bias though

KRL 10-21-2004 12:02 PM

Sirius gets better reception. The antenna doesn't need positioning like XM's does, because of how their satellites are orbited.

Is it also true that Sirius is 100% commercial free and XM has some commercials?

I've heard this... I have XM but have never once experienced a problem. I drove from Denver to New Mexico (desolate) and didn't lose a signal once.

can you use it in another country if you travel?

Herb Kornfield 10-21-2004 12:19 PM

Sirus = stern :)

Just like cable in a few years you'll have 1 box and be able to subscribe to any offering or multiple offerings.

Back in the early 80's in Philly you had to get a single box for PRISM only, now look at the shiat you can get.

Magg 10-21-2004 12:25 PM

damn i shouldve asked which one, i thought they were the same thing just differant companies..

i got my headunit which has XM in it. i guess sirius is better?

Sosa 10-21-2004 12:47 PM
