Vonage question (softphone)
 

Let's say you're in the US. If you install the Vonage SoftPhone onto your laptop, then travel internationally to Spain, can you use your phone to call home under the $25 plan? Would it work?

I don't think so...it gets your IP on the modem when you sign up.

I really like Vonage though...just got it for my house. Superb sound! Never a dropped call...

I don't think that it depends on exact IP, you can try, it is the easiest way I guess:)

It probably wont work but if in a bind buy a calling card...
