Local cop just threatened me with physical harm
 

I just wanted you guys to know about the kind of shit that cops THINK they can get away with when the public isn't looking.

Some of you know that I and my business are involved in a national internet crime case here in Canada, and that due to my involvement with a Canadian horror-film producer (that just happens to also be my brother) I was arrested last October 13th of 2000. To this day we have not had our day in court to refute the ridiculous charges against us, nor has the prosecution gotten off their overpaid asses and gotten into court to attempt to prove the aweful things they've said to the Canadian public about us.

The cop that led the raiding party on my home last year, Detective Sgt. Wayne Harrison of the Winnipeg Police Vice Div. came to my home this afternoon and threatened me with physical harm quote "If you ever post shit about me on the internet again, I'll kick your ass" followd by "you and your brother are only two guys, how many guys you think I have in MY gang?" meaning all his cop friends.

He has abused his power as a police officer to threaten and intimidate me, and that my friends is not acceptable. So, why is he in such a snizzle-twist you ask? For those of you that give a shit about what can happen to today's adult webmaster, read the article and know that other webmasters including myself need some support from you. One day you too may find yourself in a legal jam, and if you ever do, sites like mine and many others will be here for you, to raise funds for your defense or give you a way to get your side of the story out to the public.

Cops nowadays think that it's okay for them to go on tv and spout all sorts of half-thruths and twisted lies to the media and the public eats it up, yet if you say one thing back to them to refute their slanted statements they get their panties in bunch.

Since I'm not the type to be bullied by ANYONE, I stand by my actions and my professionalism, and when I do have my day in court the truth will all come out. I'm ready. Are you?

I was a police officer in the states for ten years, but don't know how to handle that in Canada.

In most states in the US he committed assault (often confused with battery but battery is when you make a bad touch). Some states that don't have assault laws have specific laws against harassment or intimidation.

If you were in the US I'd say:

1) Call his department, ask them to send out a supervisor and get a complaint on file. He is lying about cops sticking together like members of a street gang - that's only on TV. In reality there is no lonelier human being than a cop being investigated by Internal Affairs (except perhaps boneprone trying to build an Erasercash downline...). His friends won't speak to him at roll call. People won't look him in the eye as they pass him in the hall. He'll stop being invited to golf games. His co-workers will not harass you for fear of getting sucked in to the investigation with him.

2) Call the prosecutor about getting charges filed yourself. In the US most assault laws are misdemeanors and the victim has to appear as the state's witness. It's possible you could file the charges directly and not wait for I.A. to make a case.

3) In the US investigations of local departments are the responsibility of the FBI.

If you get no place with the locals see if there is a federal equivalent in Canada (RCMP?) and put the whole local department under the microscope.

This guy is an idiot. If he did it to you he's done it before. For all you know he has a folder full of these things and I.A. is just waiting for one more to hang his ass. He only has power as long as you don't tell anybody who can stop what he is doing. I hate stupid cops. Burn him.

I called the local police station shortly after the incident, and an officer from IA called me a short while afterwards. They will be coming next week to take an official statement, and they will investigate this idiot fully.

I want to point out here that YES, my brother the producer does produce some pretty violent & gorey scenes. He does so only to showcase his brand of special f/x editing in horror movies and believe me we have a number of movie producers interested in working with us now and in future on their movies, because of the talent shown. These few local cops took it upon themselves to twist and stretch the existing laws in Canada to suit their own narrow-minded belief system, and they've managed to convince an actual Crown attorney out of Toronto to handle the case. (a Woman no less, because all the victims in my bro's movies thus far have been played by women) (However, some of the women have also played the part of the killer, but the feminists tend to overlook that) We've found 100's of other movies made and/or distributed in Canada that show much worse scenes coupled with actual graphic sex (my brother's movies have no sex whatsoever). Canadian law says that in order for there to be a violation there must be sex in "the extreme end of the spectrum." Go figure. Since simple nudity is not sex (except with regards to child porn as per the R vs Sharpe desicion) we have no idea how they think they will win thier case against us.

That in a nutshell is what this is all about, and after Wayne Harrison made defamatory comments about us in a news article last winter I was promted to have a little fun with him online. THAT is why he threatened me today, saying that he knows me and knows what I'm all about. I hope IA reams him good. I hope he tries to intimidate me again, and I don't believe for one second that the Boneprone fam would behave themselves in court. Not in THIS case, it's going to be one heated debate let me tell you.

I appreciate the offer though. Maybe the fam could pay the local vice office a visit and disrupt THEIR day like this jerkazoid did mine today.

Back in the spring of 2001 we filed a 10 million dollar lawsuit against all parties involved in this farce of a case. We'll see who laughs last.

i never liked cops, but i have met some really great guys of law or related with it like: Inspector Morse, Sherlock Holmes, Ace Ventura, Naked Detective, Judge Dred, Superman and Batman. Also L.Lane, the wife of Superman is great woman with a lot of self confidence.

I don't know if I'm sounding serious enough for some of you, but this really happened to me today guys. I was really threatened by a cop, and I'm really pissed off about it.

Fact is, many cops think they can just investigate and arrest you, then spout off to the local news media about you and ruin your life permanently, all the while not being required to actually get into court and prove that what they are saying is true. I took exception to that, so I posted a cartoon that basically tells this jerk cop to go fuck himself (see it <a href="http://members.home.net/cyberdogs/Anti-Censorship%20Site/wheel_of_misfortune.html" TARGET="_blank"><font color="#FFFFCC">Here</font></a>), and for that he comes here on his day off and tells me he'll get a bunch of his cop buds and make my life hell and kick my ass. So in other words, HE get's to say what he wants about me to the news media (and all of Canada) but if I say one thing in reply I'm wrong??? You should definately follow through with trying to get this bastard. Some cops are some seriously fucked-up individuals, the psych-screenings are reasonably new and there are plenty of them out there that shouldn't be.

A lot of these cops seem to be pretty solid and level-headed on the surface, but when things get out of their control some tend to go a bit mental. It must be a control thing, and I can totally see where a lot of cops would be control freaks.
