These "RAPPERS" crack my shit up.....We Hosted "Lil Flip" afterparty lastnight..
 

So we had "Flip" in town last night performing. We hosted the afterparty and it was a disaster. First, They showed up an hour late. Second, they did a mandatory $20 cover. Third, NO ONE SHOWED UP! Another club down the road advertised the had the "official" afterparty and advertised no cover. Of course they were packed. They only stayed in the club for about an hour, barely enough time for them to smoke the pound or so of weed the were passing in non-stop rotation.

Worst of all he had 30 or so 250lb+ security constantly surrounding him. I love it how rappers say they can kick anyones ass and are the "hardest" and when they go out in public they have more security than the president. Needless to say I should have just did a wet-t contest somewhere else. He also "flipped" out when I wanted to do some pics....

Rappers have their own time.

We call it Rapper Time.

So, if a sound check it at 3:00 pm, that really means 4:20 pm, then after they smoke, it's really 5:00 pm.

Most rappers hit the stage on time if you have contracts with them and they are paid in full. Out of respect, they'll be on time for that. If you hold their balance until after they perform, they get attitude and perform when they feel like it.

I pay artists in full before hand to take away any stresses, the contracts and using a big agent have kept me safe.

After party appearances are a hassle for these guys. They'll stop by when they feel like it, if it's empty, they'll leave right away. Now if you pay for their limo rides to the event, you're safer. Then you know they get picked up at a set time from your people.

Sorry to hear that Project. The guy sounds very unprofessional. You have to remember many of these rappers get a bit of fame from pure luck and promotion and couldn't hold down a regular job before they were famous. They're a lot like many of us who ended up in the porn biz:1orglaugh
