virus protection

There just a waste of ram to me .

If RAM is at a premium ... you may want to scan for viruses online ( http://storefront.linksynergy.com/fs-bin/store?eid=tvbBYmNg0DU&offerid=13772&stid=2& subid= ), and just turn your PC off when not using it .... but I have 512 MB of RAM, so that is not an issue ...

I use BOTH Norton Antivirus 2001 and Lockdown Mellennium, and would not have it any other way ...

Unless you are running a server ... turning off your PC when not in use, works as good as any firewall (some would argue BETTER than a firewall, since a firewall sends out signals to hackers that "this is a LOCKED area" ... many hackers will try to gain access just to see why it is locked.)

Anybody who does not at least scan weekly online for viruses, probably has undiscriminate sex without condoms too !!! http://bbs.gofuckyourself.com/board/eek.gif

If you like playing the odds that much ... you should invest all your porn profits into POWERBALL also ... (just send me half of the winnings if you do win, for making the suggestion!!!)

I use a free firewall called ZoneAlarm, it's pretty easy to use and will keep you out of trouble, at least with trojan horses and such.

its ok guys have all those progz installed and rams not that much of a problem , i just find if i dont open attachments and scan every know and again then im fine .
