Can the USPS actually employ people who have the slightest clue of any geography?

Or is this just a pointless hope and an endemic scenario within that organisation?

Consistantly mail for Puerto Rico gets sent to Costa Rica, and often the reverse.

Mail to the Caribbean islands can go anywhere - the most circular route so far was via someplace in the Indian Ocean.

The sender gets most of the mail back marked "return to sender" as undeliverable when the address is both as clear as hell and 100% accurate.

Sheesh.. this is painful and extreme - Not because of the mail, but the amazing lack of any common knowledge.

WTF - did they every get *any* education?




PS BTW.. there is this fetish in the US about the Indian Ocean and a "need" to send stuff there.

A guy shipping a server from the US, although we just chatted about the Caribbean and knew the address, - he had this urge to ask the question, "That's in the Indian Ocean isn't it?". Well.. no...

Tho, that server was gonna be sent by Fedex to the Indian Ocean - there's always some asshole in the middle who can screw up even a good chance :-)

USPS is lame. They are slow, innacurate, and pissy about everything. If they hate their jobs why do they work there?
