clickcounters and ARS
has anyone ever used a clickcounter to send hits to ars?
I've read numerous posts that some peoples counted clicks decreased by up to 80% after using one. I'm using one right now and ARS counts about 95% of what the counter counts. (raw hits) Others posted that their clicks stayed about the same but their ratios decreased. This one really got me thinking. I'm constantly getting worse conversion ratios than others with similar layouts. Does anyone have any experiences with ars and clickcounting scripts? |

this means that my ratio might be worse than 1:4500?

95% is good,,,
how do you know its ARS and not your clickcounter thats not accurate? seriously though,,,prolly surfers close the window fast enough that the url doesn't load into the ARS stats,,, thats my guess ------------------ ------------ Playa icq#38147712 Got a Black site or category? yeah i know
95% is reallo not bad. I'm just concerned that they might count hits but not all sales when I use a click counter |
It was said several times on the ARS's board that they count signups in real time and hits get updated with 10 or 15 minutes delay. (I am not sure about the correct time though) So, if you get 95%, the other 5% is yet to be inserted into the stats.
I would not worry about ARS shaving hits or signups. Yeah, there are glitches sometimes, and I really hope they will fix them in the ARS v.3 but I don't think they would jeopardize their program with a silly thing like shaving. ------------------ ARS is my #1 sponsor.
