Dunno, but get an I-River instead. More features, better value for money and can definitely be used as a hard drive (20gb or 40gb models) :thumbsup

and wanted to chop it on ebay, but i needed a usb hard drive, i guess now i do not:) cause i can transfer files with my 20 gig ipod:)

Don't fall victim to the Ipod hype. I don't know about the US, but here in the UK Ipod have done a great ad campaign and most people don't even know IRiver exists so go out and buy an Ipod without even realising there are other players on the market to consider.
