self-fulfilling prophecy?
how much do you think your mental outlook on things affects where you end up?
being over positive. overly negative. neutral. :glugglug |
Yes i believe in that
Brian Tracy books recommended reading :thumbsup |
No doubt, if you are negative you will be lead down a bad path...
|
I believe your mental outlook is everything.
|
A lot. A strange note on that though. I used to feel invincible about everything, even winning games where outcome is based solely on luck (bingo, wheel of fortune, yatzee, etc). And I always won. :)

Positive thinking is a great thing :glugglug
|
it means the world. if you dont think you can do something you probably wont try, and it will never get done. if you think you can do it, the least you will do is try.
|
Tony Robbins is my hero. but seriously, I do think positive outlook and forward thinking will take you far in this world.

Yes, a positive mental outlook works much better than a negative one if you want to succeed.
|
I just used the words "self fulfilling prophecy" to describe Ibill a few minutes ago.
People think they're going under, so everyone puts their business elsewhere, causing them to go under. |
You only let the things in your life happen that you want to have happen. A matter of outlook, yes.
|
None. Your innate abilities are not related to your attitude. An untalented person with all the optimism in the world will never accomplsih anything. A negative person with intelligence and talent can go far (John McEnroe and Kurt Cobain being the most obvious examples). You become what you are destined to be.

A can't lose attitude carried my gambling buddy and me to 31 straight winning blackjack sessions. That has to be on the verge of statistically impossible.
