A Swedish ISP got a very interesting way to fight spam.
Users download a screensaver that request pages from spamservers all over the world. They try to slow down the spammers servers as much as possible and use as much bandwidth as possible. I dont think it will work but its a cool idea. But, is this legal? |
Nope.
How would you fell if someone stole your bandwidth? Would you press charges? |
lycos?

Allah Ouakbarrrrrrr
Let's do that to W website so JFK gets elected and loves all the Muslims Allah Ouakbarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr |
It will be interesting to see the response from all the spammers if many people start to use this.

I think it's a pretty nice illegal idea! :D |
Just ask thehun nicely and he might help out. :)
(Too bad if the spammers have hijacked a server that they're not paying for. Someone will get a rude shock when they see their overage bill.) |
