0, zero, nothing, nada. All my surfers know where they go... and if they don't know then I show them where to go :)

Aren't relative figures more meaningful?

About 2% of the total daily uniques across my network end up on my 404 page.

It's a wierd concept.

Surely if you considered 404's and redirected them back to your site, is it still called a 404 ? Maybe it's a smart redirect?

It's a bit like if a dog shit's in the forest , and someone rubs his nose in it, is he still at home ? :)

I don't have any because I do my best to make sure I focus on making sure my customers are comfortable where they are going and I find that the few 404 the more money I make...

The relative figure is more important. Also important is the source of those 404's - meaning, did you fuck up and move a page / directory / site without having a mechanism to forward traffic to the correct destination? If so, then this is still "good" traffic who hit the 404 through no fault of their own. Treat 'em nice - and don't be so sloppy with your site management.

Or, is the 404 traffic coming from "monkey boys" trying to "guess" their way around your site / galleries? This is NOT "good" traffic, but often freeloaders who wouldn't pay for porn if you put a gun to their head. Fuck 'em. Wash those fellas out for fresh traffic and a few pennies a click.

I get about 10 - 20 K just from one of my sites. My other ones get 1-2K
