Is this a good idea?
 

I was thinking about setting up a deal with photographers whereby the photographer supplies all of the content for a site, and I take care of building the site, promoting it, updating it, affiliates etc etc, 50/50 split of profits.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Absolutely not.

... give the guy with the camera a one time payment of $500 and he'll be happy.
