anyone use serverbeach?

Need a couple other servers and noticed they have no setup fee. Anyone use these guys?

You know I have a server that I use to mess around there, I just got it about 3 weeks ago. It's only 80 bucks, and works like a champ. At times its sorta slow, but I can't complain, its 80 bucks.

They seem good enough, at least a decent competition to EV1. I hate EV1 with a passion.

Hmm, slow wouldn't be good. Need to use it to host lots of websites and another for database server. I use fastservers and they fucking rock but 150$ setup per server.

Anyone else got feedback on them?

I used to have a server there when I used to work at Sony... we used it as a database server, but the network was flaky...

read their terms of service close. I believe they added no adult. you might see some guys with servers there that was prior to this change and they are still online.

Ill expand:

When I was with Sony the server used to get packet loss and irratic latency times, there were also brief periods where it went down for a couple minutes... never to long, but it was noticeable.

The packet loss was frequent... I dont know how they are very recently though, but I do know that many gamers left there and they arnt pushed anymore for east coast gaming because of the network (so it must still have issues)

Get a cheap one and test it for a month..
