It's Official
 

Hey Folks,

Well, it is official. As of August 31, 2001 I will be retiring from my position as the #2 man with Rebar IT, a worldwide IT company, and turning all of my attention to the midnight cunts paysite and affilliate program, as well as working full time on the tgp2 submitter.

I want to thank all of you for your support and encouragement, both to those that have mentored me and those that have looked to me for advice in developing their online adult empires.

The response to all of our product lines have been exciting, and have dictated that Kandi and I make this move. While it is a little nerve wracking, I believe it is important that you make a commitment and dedicate yourself to the work that excites and motivates you. Working with all of you as an adult webmaster, an affiliate program sponsor or in my role of webmaster support through our tools, has opened my eyes to the possibilities of the online adult entertainment industry.

Those of you that know me know that I am a published technical author in the United States, and a former keynote speaker for the Microsoft Developers Days lecture circuit. Many people in corporate America said I was foolish for getting involved in the adult entertainment industry and at times I have had the difficult burden of knowing that my family did not always support my desire to move away from showing up at a desk everyday to truly building something that was personally rewarding and self motivating.

I hope that anyone that reads this that is on the fence as I was for so long, will realize just as I did, that it is possible to suceed in this business with a combination of desire, dedication and perserverence. Though the list is too long to go through, I cannot thank Lensman, Eric, Wolfshade, Mike B, Jim, Gem, LudeDude, DamageX, YnotBob, Taz, Forest, Colin, The Hun and many others enough for their belief in me and their endless hours of answering questions when they could have been off building their own empire with little thought of extending themselves and helping a relatively new player like The Midnight Collection to grow to the point that it would support Kandi and I enough to make this move.

To the newcomer, if there is anything that Kandi and I can do to help you get off the ground, please don't hesitate to ask. It is that cameraderie that drives the adult webmaster family, and it is the least we can do to say thanks to those that did it for us.

Looking forward to being here more often as of next Friday.

It's the non-porn benefits that were really hard to give up. We are lucky in the US that we have a program called Cobra that will allow us to extend our medical benefits for 18 months. Hopefully, by that time, our organization will be large enough to cover medical benefits for ourselves and our staff.

Congrats! and GFY!

I actually like most parts of my job as a consultant, but it's the little things that still get to a person. Like a boss with an ass so tight you couldn't fit a needle up it with a jackhammer.

I passed the 70-240 test and I've got three more to go... Microsoft is really starting to piss me off with all the new releases. Why can't they wait for 2000 to settle?

I'm following in your footsteps Midnight. Here's hoping I don't take a big crap in 'em...
