Dont make the mistake of calling the Hummers.
They are not.
They are H2's and will never live up to THE Hummer.

I think that the H2 is built on the Navigator frame.

I don't know about anyone else.... I spent four years in the Marines in the late 80's. In the military there were as common as the jeep, and pretty much everyone had driven one dozens of times. They put leather seats and them and suddenly they are a satus symbol?

I like my H2....its fun....its roomy inside to have 7 people....and doesnt take as much gas as the H1....and its half the cost... $60k as oppose to $110K

if I were gonna do something like that, I would just buy an old banged up military surplus hummer for about 30k, put a nice rollcage on it, and some 5 points, and give it hell.

I hate h2's.. I love hummers, does that mean I can afford a 100+k hummer and not a 60k h2?

Saying you don't like it for aesthetic reasons or because it doesn't drive how you like or whatever is one thing, but saying that "it's a piece of crap for people with small dicks and lame ass soccer moms" or some ignorant reason like that is two different things.

I agree ... even though I hate the H2 .. the H1 still seems like a real machine. I don't know if they've dumbed down the military version these days for consumers, but 10 years ago they hadn't.

I beg to differ. I seen a special on Discovery channel called 7 Wonders of the world. They talked about Hummers. They say H2 is capable of 80% of what the H1 can do. They showed them all in action. I love HUMMERS :Graucho
