Incorporating late in the year: Any way to save taxes on the money you made prior..

...to incorporating ? I plan to incorporate this week and would like to be able to pay only 21%(or lower if I go offshore) for all of my 2004 incomes. My accountant doesnt seem to know if it can be done. Is there a way to do it?

How can you just change lanes mid stream and try to allocate your past revenue into a corp that never existed at that time?? :)

All that stuff needs to be put in place first.

Tho, depends what "facilities" you may have - eg.. inter company invoicing has some uses :-)

is that true? How did he do it? inter company invoicing? Were your checks and wire transfers made at your name or at your company's name prior to incorporating? All my 2004 revenues were paid to me personally, not a company

maybe 60 days prior to paper fillings, not before though... I'd have to check again... but that's what I've read and what I'll be telling my accountant when the taxes time come up :)
