I just watched The People vs Larry Flynt -- What an awesome guy, send him traffic!

Surprisingly good flick, seems like a pretty fucking awesome guy. Perhaps it was just amazing acting on Woody Harrelson's behalf? Nevertheless, from what I can presume, he's a down to Earth, good dude. Who holds his principles to a high regard.

What's his websites again? FlyntDigital.com? Yeah well, send him traffic! Please? :glugglug :thumbsup

:winkwink:

It's nice to be able to ride on Flynt's coattails but he has always been Flynt first... free speech was a necessary issue. Don't forget who was the first of the big players to strike a sweetheart deal with Aacia.:2 cents:

You sort of beat me to it. He may or may not be a nice guy but it's amzing how many people failt to see below the gloss.

Watch the film again and try to see the true reason for all the court appearences etc. It has little to do with free speech as such and everything to do with loss of free speech = loss of revenue.

I've still to see that movie...

I thought it was a nice mix of attention whoring, rage, and protecting his business. It reminds me of what George Bernard Shaw said:

Quote:

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable man persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.

Thank you and remember its a movie not real. He didnt fight for our freedoms ,he fought for his business model.
