Jerry Rice Traded to Seattle Seahawks!

The best there ever was is now a Seahawk! Will he get to be involved in Seattle? Only time will tell

Good for Jerry. He didn't get any respect in Jokeland.

And the Seahawks can surely use a sure-handed receiver (Koren drops every other pass) even if Jerry is a bit slower now.

Damn! Jerry Rice was always my favorite player but I think its about time to hang em up.

Jerry Rice?

Wow....he's so one of my favourites....

But, isn't he in his forties now?

he is 42, but can still play. He caught 63 for 849 for the raiders last year

If you ever saw his workout you'd see why he can still play

Spunky 10-18-2004 08:25 PM

Good addition but he has seen better days

I hope Jerry likes it, the Bay Area was his home for
a long time.

Raiders suck ass.

Best of Luck Jerry.. your my boy blu!

JR is a great receiver and even though he is not what he used to be, he loves to play. He is not doing it for the money.

He'll be involved. Koren's gonna take a month off.

niners should have grabbed him. 7th rounder is great, even if its for part of a season. could have helped the young recievers

xclusive 10-18-2004 10:30 PM

Good for him he will get more plays there for sure...

they should have taken him out of respect for him. Allow him to retire with the team he came in with. Same as they did with Montana.

Good luck in Seatle Jerry

W00t hes getting old but hell yeah!

Strife 10-18-2004 11:15 PM

Good the Seahawks need a receiver that doesn't always drop passess :thumbsup

Vitasoy 10-19-2004 03:31 AM

I think he should retire after this year, good luck to him.

EpicLisa 10-19-2004 04:35 AM

Good for him! I don't think the word retire is in his vocabulary. He may have lost a step or two but at least you can count on him to catch the ball.

I have seen him work out ...he's awesome. I'm thrilled. Maybe the Seahawks will have a chance with him.....

.:St Ides:. 10-19-2004 09:30 AM

Anything is possible, he just wants to win and go out with some dignity, sadly that word means nothing to the raiders

jimmyf 10-19-2004 09:34 AM

he'll do OK in Seattle

Furious_Male 10-19-2004 09:36 AM

Seattle is a great fit for him. He will do well. I love his tenacity even as he gets up in age.
