But what he lacks is feeling. You can here it when he plays slow parts. When I first played the video I was stunned, but after a minute or so, I heared it all. The other videos are just the same.
Fast playing, good techiques is just half of a great guitarist.

But, anyway he knows how to shred...

michel, true... he seems to lack the feeling, but I am not sure just how much feeling you can add to shredding in the first place. the fast pace does not really allow you to express many emotions... but then again I don't know since I don't play the guitar and never have.

same thing with Metallica's Justice For All... they said it was technically brilliant but lacked emotion. guess you can't really combine those two.

He's very fast, but it's mostly sweep picking over and over for the most part. Very redundant and void of emotion.

true, but there are some slower parts also. And those parts are the ones I talked about when meant feeling...
Same with Michael Angelo, he's fast as hell, plays two guitars at the same time, but when you heard a couple of his solo's you've heard them all.
