I have 12 of them. 6 for me and family and another 6 still in the bag. Wear one almost everyday.
Of course I'm a road cyclist and spin 30-40 miles a day as well.

Lance is Da Man!

Yep. My mom has cancer and the bands were
an excellent way for all of the extended family (including the young ones) to show support and caring in a difficult time.
It also helped when explaining my mom's illness to my little boys. I think wearing the bands gives them a sense that they are helping out their grandma in a way...makes them feel less helpless in the situation.

But now the bands are back-ordered and
selling on Ebay for more than their value...with
proceeds NOT going to the LanceArmstrong foundation.
It really irritates me. :( Seems a really shitty
way to try to make a few extra dollars.

Yes i seen that today. I bought from the foundation directly.. with a waiting period of 3-4 wks b4 the bands will be shipped. But that only means so many ppl are buying them. :) ... And yes i also noticed that ppl were in fact selling them on ebay... and i also noticed very little bids. Some ppl r so lame and classless.

My boyfriend recently passed away from cancer and this was one way for me to reach out to his family... without feeling like i was intruding on their grief.

:( I'm SO sorry to hear that, hun.
It's such a devastating illness. I hope that
the sun will be shining for your soon. :) *hugs*

And I agree. A 3-4 week wait is NOTHING, especially
for such a great cause. Anyone looking, you can buy
the bands here
for just $1.

These would make great stocking stuffers
or Xmas card inserts. :)

I couldn't agree with this more!!! My husband has been in search for one, but ran into the backorder as well. I refused to let him buy off ebay.

I had one to but it fit my wrist too tight and I have very sensitive skin.

My day jobs Company (luxottica retail) bought 7,000 of them.

With all due respect, no one knows what goes
on behind closed doors. Simply because someone
stays with you through a difficult time does not
necessarily indebt you to them for the rest of your life.

His struggle belonged to ALL of them. I'm sure that
the story is not one -sided. He did not dump his wife
for Sheryl Crow and there is no crime in finding someone
after divorce. To her credit, his wife Kristin has been
very supportive of Lance and LAF following the divorce.

We've all done things that look less than pleasant
to some, but the balance of the good he has done
SO far out weighs any negative press that he
has received.

Were I Lance Armstrong, I would sleep well at night. :2 cents:
