I'm sick of people making him out to be a fucking hero. He was able to deal with his injury and make minute improvements because he was wealthy. He did not act as inspiration for quadriplegics. He just made them think "gee, I wish I had money too." He was never interested in stem cell research until he could have benefited from it. The guy is dead. Make a few jokes. He won't mind.
